The green was mown and rolled in the morning before we had some heavy rain. Thanks to the spiking carried out at the weekend the water drained away well though the green was heavy.
The rain generally stayed away though there was a brief, heavy shower whilst the first three games were in progress.
The first match of the second half of the season found us in the same position as at the beginning of the season. We lost 1-7 to Gate 'A'. The aggregate was 69 - 112 so we could well slip back another place in the league.
