RBC v Royston 'B' - Oswestry League

This evening marked the first match in the second half of the season and was played at home against Royston 'B'.

There was very light rain during the match but the heavy rain that had been forecast all day managed to stay away and waited till all the games were completed

RBC won the match 9-1 with the aggregate at 157 - 94 which will move the team to the top of Division 6 once more.

RBC v Gate 'B' on 25.06.07

The afternoon brought a heavy downpour which threatened to cancel this evenings match.

However, a couple of test ends showed that the green was playable. The green improved as the match progressed much to everyones surprise.

However the home team lost 2-6 once more.

According to the tables we are currently 12 out of 14 in the league.

Parciau v RBC on 18.06.07

The weather remained good for the away match at Bellevue Park. Unfortunately we lost 2-6 to Parciau.

Wrexham Pairs League

As of Friday 02 June Ruabon are 11 out of 14 in the Pairs League

We have Played 8, Won 2, Lost 6 and Drawn 0 to give us 21.

Llay head the League as usual with 62 points.

Ruabon v Gresford Colliery

Robin cut the green this afternoon in readiness for this evenings match. Unfortunately the home green advantage in the Pairs League was no help whatsoever and we were trounced 8 - 0.

Never mind we have another home match on Monday when we play Bersham. It will give us a little time to work on the green.

In the meantime we have a practice night on Wednesday from 18.30 till 20.00 and another on Saturday morning between 10.00 and 12.00.

New Members are always welcome to come along and have a go.
